Edexcel International AS-Level Psychology Module 1

Our Edexcel AS-Level courses are designed to be studied as modular courses, meaning the AS-Level is split into 2 modules. To complete the full AS-Level you must study both modules. To obtain a full A-Level you will need to study both modules for AS-Level, as well as both modules for A-Level.

The aims and objectives of the Pearson Edexcel International AS-Level Psyhcology course are to enable learners to develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of psychology and how they relate to each other. Students will develop and demonstrate a deep appreciation of the skills in using scientific research methods, knowledge and understanding of scientific research methods, as well as competence and confidence in using a variety of practical, mathematical and problem-solving skills. This course will develop their interest in and enthusiasm for psychology, including developing an interest in further international study and careers associated with psychology, and teach them to appreciate how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how psychology contributes to the success of the economy and society.
