Edexcel International A-Level Mathematics Pure 3 (P3)

As this is an Edexcel IAL, you will need to complete all necessary core sections to obtain the full A-Level qualification. The qualification is split into 4 parts: P1, P2, P3, and P4. We do not provide exams, so additional fees will aply depending on your chosen centre which you will need to contact to sit your exams after completing the courses.

The aims and objectives of the Pearson Edexcel International A-Level Mathematics course are to enable students to develop their understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes in a way that promotes confidence and fosters enjoyment. Students will develop abilities to reason logically and recognise incorrect reasoning, to generalise and to construct mathematical proofs, and they will extend their range of mathematical skills and techniques and use them in more difficult, unstructured problems. This course will develop an understanding of coherence and progression in mathematics and of how different areas of mathematics can be connected, and enable stduents to recognise how a situation may be represented mathematically and understand the relationship between ‘real-world’ problems and standard and other mathematical models and how these can be refined and improved. This course prepares students for further study and future career opportunities.
